I built Hikaru and GothamChess Tell You to MOVE, a browser extension for time management!
When you have spent too much time thinking on a singular move, Hikaru and GothamChess (or a generic sound effect if you're a boring person) will tell you to MOVE! You can adjust how long it takes before it reminds you to move, either a flat amount of time or a percentage of your remaining time.
GothamChess reacted to my video, and then installed the extension and tried it out on stream! Check out his reactions and my responses to them.
Hikaru Nakamura also reacted to my video, while NorthernLion heard some "mysterious voices" during his Twitch Rivals game with Andrea Botez...
Eloguessr
My friend Shikib and I built Eloguessr! Show your friends that you are the master of guessing the elo of random chess games. On Eloguessr, a random rated Blitz game from chess.com is shown, and your job is to guess the elo of the game.
I built Social Distancing Chess from scratch! The premise to this variant is simple - every chess piece has distanced themselves from each other in the starting position, and the board has been expanded.
Knights are much weaker on this massively increased board, so I have buffed them to be able to move in a 2-by-4 L shape as well as the traditional 1-by-2 L shape. Also, pawns are obviously going to have a hard time marching down the board, so here they are allowed to move two squares at once throughout all parts of the game. All other rules have been left unchanged.
Beating GothamChess Bot with PREMOVES ONLY
Many "celebrity bots" were released on chess.com, providing challenges of various difficulty. I decided to beat GothamChess Bot on chess.com with premoves only!
GothamChess reacts to my video, and I also react to his reaction!
